ABOUT

Ella Ingram is an accomplished pianist and musical director from Matlock, Derbyshire. Currently based in Greenwich, London, she is currently Assistant Musical Director for the West End production of Six the Musical.

Ella began playing for local school/amateur productions at a young age, Musical Directing her first show at just 18 years old. She went on to study classical piano at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she was able to immerse herself in musical theatre work, both inside and outside of college.

Ella made her professional Off-West End Musical Direction debut, conducting ‘No Limits’ at the Turbine Theatre in February 2023. She went on to make her West End depping debut, playing keys 2 in Bat Out of Hell and Bonnie and Clyde. She has also played audition piano for shows such as ‘Anything Goes’ (UK Tour), ‘The King and I’ (UK Tour), and ‘Gypsy’ (The Mill at Sonning). As well as rehearsal piano for ‘Bat Out of Hell’ (International Tour and West End transfer), and Titanic the Musical (Wermland Opera, Sweden).

Ella works as an Acting Through Song accompanist at Trinity Laban, and has also worked as an audition prep coach and exam accompanist at Momentum Performing Arts Academy.

Ella works as an ArtsEd Extra Musical Director, teaching and coaching children aged 11-16 in their Saturday morning classes.

She also regularly teaches piano to children and adults both privately and as a proud member of the Becky Dell Music Academy.
